Their content covers a broad spectrum, from identifying profitable niches to generating significant revenue. However, the primary issue was that many of the website’s URLs were not indexed by Google, severely limiting the visibility of their blogs.
The client’s main goal was to ensure that all their content, especially the blogs, was indexed by Google to maximize reach and influence.
Our SEO team began with a comprehensive analysis of the website using Google Search Console and conducted a detailed audit. The audit revealed that while the website had over 1,000 URLs available and indexable by Google, only about 300 URLs were genuinely valuable.
The excess URLs were not only irrelevant but also consumed a significant portion of the website’s crawl budget, preventing crucial content from being indexed effectively. We identified and addressed these superfluous URLs, ensuring that only the essential ones were made available for Google’s indexing.
To address the indexing issue, we took several strategic steps. We submitted an updated sitemap to Google, added 'no index' tags to URLs that should not be indexed, and requested Google to re-crawl the site. Additionally, we leveraged Rank Math's API to force index any important URLs that were previously overlooked. This approach ensured that the most critical content was indexed and visible on Google.
Once the essential URLs were indexed, we shifted our focus to improving the on-page SEO. We conducted extensive keyword research, identifying untapped opportunities that competitors had overlooked. By optimizing blog content with high-potential keywords like "Zazzle vs Etsy," "Zazzle vs Minted," and "Zazzle vs Society6," we positioned the website to rank highly for these queries. As a result, the site continues to dominate search results for its key terms.
